The Gothic 3 Soundtrack was called the Best game soundtrack ever by the German print magazine Gamestar. It earned lots of praise by both players and press. 160 people from all around the globe helped with united efforts to create this highly innovative and grandiose piece of art.
Composer Kai Rosenkranz and the production team scoreworkers worked on the Gothic 3 Soundtrack for more than 2 years. Eight recording sessions and countless days of post production later, the Gothic 3 soundtrack is finished and Piranha Bytes thanks everyone involved in the project.
The soundtrack features the Bochum Symphony Orchestra, the japanese Taiko band GOCOO (Matrix Reloaded, Matrix Revolutions), Hollywood singer Lisbeth Scott (Munich, Passion Of The Christ, Narnia, Shrek, ...), the medieval band Corvus Corax, the FILMharmonic Choir Prague, the S.A.M. Gospel Choir and various ethno musicians. What looks like the lineup for a big-time Hollywood production is the greatly enthusiastic and professional ensemble that created a 70-minutes journey though the world of Gothic 3 that is absolutely worth listening to.
We hope you'll enjoy exploring the musical world of Gothic 3...
